Different Types of Forks
There are two types of forks available for Pro Scooters.
- Threaded Forks
If you prefer a threaded fork for your pro scooter, you can explore that the top layer of fork steer tube has been machined with strong thread and that’s why RILLA pro Scooters’ threaded headset are tightened from the top of the fork. Usually the base models at RILLA Pro Scooters offer these threaded forks.
- Threadless Forks
While the RILLA Pro Scooter do not provide any thread on its outside steer tube, it is recognized as threadless forks. Therefore, the steer tube for the threadless fork is smooth enough. Here you only need the threadless headset with different forms of compressions such as HIC, SCS or ICS. The maximum levels of performance offered by RILLA Pro Scooter users are often use the threadless forks. Actually for the better performance of the forks all pro scooters need threads. Therefore, RILLA offers in its different models threads inside the steer tube. If you wish to change it, you can obtain the option like installing a start nut inside the steer tube.
Once you make decision about the type of fork for your RILLA Stunt Scooters, RILLA Freestyle Scooters or RILLA Kick Scooters, you need to be specific about scooter bars, headset, wheels and compression so that these will be compatible to your pro scooter.
